Garden Competition 2026

Thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s Garden Competition

As you can see from the photos, you have all worked your magic. Despite the challenging weather we’ve had, the gardens and entries were absolutely fantastic.

A huge thank you to our judge, Sara from CDH Grass Cutting and Garden Services, who was extremely impressed by all the entries. She had some very difficult decisions to make when choosing the winners in each of our categories.

Our aim with this competition was to recognise and celebrate the hard work of our residents, encourage beautiful and wildlife-friendly gardens, support biodiversity, and build community spirit. It was wonderful to see so many different and creative approaches to gardening across Grovesend and Waungron.

Thank you once again to everyone who entered, nominated someone, or simply supported the competition. Your enthusiasm and love of gardening really help make our village bloom.
