Planting fruit trees in Golden Grove Park

Lovely morning spent in Golden Grove Park.

Kate and Rhi from The Orchard Project held a tree planting session with Pengelli Primary School.

Big thanks to Friends of Golden Grove Park, Grovesend & Waungron Community Council and our parks/community development team for getting stuck in and helping make it happen.

We planted new apple and pear trees, and with a bit of time they should be bearing fruit in a few years.
