Summer Fayre

On behalf of Grovesend and Waungron Community Council, Friends of Golden Grove Park and Pengelli Sports and Social

What a fantastic day we had yesterday bringing the village together for our annual Summer Fayre. Was lovely to see so many people gathering together.

Thank you once again to Grovesend & Waungron Community Council , Councillors - Andrew Stevens, Jan Curtice & Nicola Matthews , Pengelli Sports & Social Club , Friends of Golden Grove Park - Grovesend , Krislyn Motors and Miners Welfare Trustees for making a financial contribution for this event. It allowed us to put on a mainly free event for you all to enjoy.

Thank you to all the businesses who donated a raffle prize. We managed to raise £1042.95 which will go towards the development of the park in Grovesend.

We would also like to thank everyone involved in organising the event, helping to set up and giving up your time on the day to make it a success.
